Fighting the fight for WWE games on PC

Wrestling games are very often console exclusive. The last PC wrestling game was WWE Raw, released in 2002. The next scheduled wrestling game is Pro Wrestling X, currently available on Steam Early Access.

Last year saw the release of WWE 2K15, the first WWE game for next generation consoles. Everyone was excited as 2K kept gamers waiting anxiously, slowly releasing information in tiny bite sized pieces.

Months before its release several rumours began circling the web about a potential PC release, which no doubt made PC gamers, such as myself, very excited.

However, with the game now being released since November last year, and no further news of a PC release coming out, all hope is now lost.

Next year, however, the game may be released on PC, and here are my top 4 reasons why WWE games should enter the PC market.

Luchador, Mexican Wrestling Dice, bringing wrestling back to board games

Wrestling board games are unfortunately a rarity in todays board game landscape.

While we have a fair few different wrestling video games to choose from, albeit very little, the board game department is particularly baron.

However, Luchador, Mexican wrestling dice, intends to fertilise the baron landscape.

5 Star Wrestling, PS3’s best wrestling game

‘Raging’ Andy Organ charged at Mike Iceberg with venomous intent. Iceberg dodged the clothesline, spun Organ around and went to nail him with a brutal iceberg slam. However, at the last second, Organ managed to twist the momentum around, nailing Iceberg with an RAO from out of nowhere. Both men laid flat on the ground. The tension rose. It could have been cut with a knife. However, Organ managed to dive up to his feet a few seconds before Iceberg, giving him a perfect opening to deliver a brutal punt to the side of Icebergs head, falling atop his foe and gaining the 1…2…3

The ending of the match was amazing, and that was only a 4 star match, the 5 star ones are Wrestlemania worthy main events.

NXT 18/03/2014 review – Owens sets the tone

This weeks episode of NXT aired from Columbus, Ohio, as NXT took to the road for the first time with intentions to wow a fresh, new crowd.

Wrestling at a young age, is it a good idea?

The average age of all the announced participants at WWE’s Wrestlemania this year is 34.

Many wrestlers start training at a young age. John Cena began at 22 and Paige at 13.

However, some wrestlers start earlier.

British show, Turn it Up, makes Lincoln Too Cool

Too Cool were in attendance this month at Lincoln Fight Factory Wrestling’s Turn it Up, where they wormed their way to victory.
